Refund & Return Policy
At Kitchen Restaurant Equipment, we stand by the quality of our products. Please review our refund and return policy carefully to ensure your complete understanding of our procedures and requirements regarding returns.
1. General Return Guidelines
Eligible Returns:
Regularly stocked products may be returned within **30 days** from the date of receipt, provided that the product is:
- Unused
- Undamaged
- In its original packaging
Non-Returnable Items:
To maintain quality and product integrity, please note that the following items cannot be returned:
- Special Order and Non-Stock Items: These are customized or specially acquired products and are not eligible for return.
- Consumable Products: To ensure that consumables remain safe and unexpired, these items are non-returnable.
- Customizable Products: As these items are tailored to your unique requirements, they cannot be accepted for return.
2. Restocking Fees & Return Conditions for Stock Items
Returned in-stock items incur a restocking fee to cover the cost of processing them back into our inventory. Please note the following:
Standard Fee:
Stock items are subject to a 25% restocking fee from your return credit as a general guideline.
- Variable Restocking Fees Based on Delivery Destination:
To better align with processing and logistics costs, the restocking fee will be applied as follows:
- Commercial Locations: A 20% fee of the item(s)' cost will be deducted.
- Residential Locations: A 30% fee of the item(s)' cost will be deducted.
This means that while our general return policy sets a 25% restocking fee for stock items, orders destined for commercial or residential addresses are subject to a fee adjusted to 20% or 30% respectively.
3. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund according to the following guidelines:
- Payment Method Refunds:
- For orders originally paid by credit card (or other standard methods), the refund will be issued to the **original payment method**.
- If you used an Alternative Payment Method (such as wire, check, ACH, or a leasing agreement), your refund will be provided in the form of a Refund Credit. Additionally, if we cannot process the refund to your original payment method (for example, if your credit or debit card is no longer active), a Refund Credit will be issued instead.
Shipping Charges:
Shipping fees paid at the time of checkout will not be credited. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, including any applicable brokerage fees, duties, and taxes, especially for international returns.
4. Special Order and Drop Ship Products
Return Restriction:
Products designated as Special Order or those shipped directly from the manufacturer (also known as Drop Ship Product are not eligible for return.
Return Request Process:
If you believe a return is warranted for a Special Order or Drop Ship Product, you must contact our Customer Solutions Specialist. They will guide you through the process and, where possible, provide alternative resolutions.
5. Final Steps & Additional Information
- After your returned items are received and verified as meeting our return conditions, your refund will be processed per the guidelines above, with the applicable restocking fee deducted.
